Woah! I have been super busy making this music thing work. Juggling studio time, writing, events, AND learning the business side of all this has not been easy. Did I mention running a household and taking care of a family in there? My head has been spinning. Oddly enough, I'm still writing some pretty good music. Maybe the chaos drives my inspiration? Maybe.
I've got plans to release more singles after my album this fall! I am so excited to share it with y'all. I truly feel like this is my best work yet. Music truly has a way of connecting people in a way that nothing else does. Somedays I stop myself and ask why I am working so hard toward this. Sharing my music has been one of the most mentally challenging things I have done. The doubt, frustration, vulnerability and exhaustion has really taken a toll on me.
I guess the reason I am doing it is because I feel like I have to. There is something pushing me that I cannot explain. A force beyond me. All I know is that I have to share it. Whatever happens beyond that isn't up to me. My favorite saying right now is “God Speed”. Stay Tuned!
